As an option on your new connect a.d. Manual or Automatic Entrance Door, midrails, laybars and intermediate transoms can be added for design and functionality.
...midrails...
A midrail is a wide horizontal frame member which is set between the top rail and bottom rail on a doorleaf. Midrails can also be added to a sidescreen where they are positioned between the head rail and cill.
...laybars...
Laybars can also be added to both the doors and sidescreens. A laybar is a narrow horizontal frame member which is set between the top and bottom rails on a doorleaf, or between the head rail and cill on a sidescreen. It is possible to have either a single laybar or multiple laybars on either doors or sidescreens.
...intermediate transom rail...
An intermediate transom rail can be added to a sidescreen if required. The intermediate transom is a narrow horizontal frame member in a sidescreen which is in line with the head rail of the doorframe when a transom exists.
...letterbox...
If you require, connect a.d. can add a letterbox to your new door. The letterbox can be located on either the midrail of the door or the midrail of the sidescreen.
