The connect a.d. Fully Automatic Hinged Door Operator is ideal for use in the most demanding of commercial environments. This operator can be retro-fitted to existing hinging timber, steel or aluminium doors, to a maximum weight of 150kg, that are subject to continuous use by the general public on a daily basis.

The door operator is contained within an overhead header unit, surface mounted to the door . This unit contains the motor and microprocessor controller complete with multi-position control switch to set the modes of operation.

The most common in the range of door activation options is by overhead sensors on both sides of the opening. The door then self closes after an adjustable time delay via a spring return mechanism. This ensures that the door will also close in the event of a mains power failure, making it ideal for fire doors.

In order to meet the requirements of British Standard BS 7036, presence safety sensors are fitted on the front and back edges of the doorleaf. These sensors will detect any obstacle that restricts the door travel before contact is made. This ensures that the highest levels of safety are provided for all users.
