The connect a.d. Framed Glass Fire Door is ideal for low to medium volume pedestrian access in commercial environments such as shopping centres where a fire rating is required to protect and separate areas.
These doors are constructed from steel rather than aluminium in order to provide an adequate fire rating.
In order to determine whether your door needs to be fire rated you should contact your fire officer or insurance company.
The basic doorset comprises of a door leaf and frame and can be supplied as either a single, double, or leaf and a half door, with the option of side screens and transom panels. The door leaf can be configured to swing inwards, outwards or in both directions.
Our Framed Glass Fire Doors can be produced in a wide range of colours by polyester powder coating the frame to any BS or RAL colour. Alternatively the door can be provided with a silver or bronze anodised finish or even stainless steel.
The standard options of our Framed Glass Fire Doors include a door closure and pivots to allow for smooth self-closing operation and pad handles on both sides of the door.
Security is provided by a deadlock and, for double leaf doors, top and bottom flushbolts to the inactive leaf.
The specification of your door can be changed by choosing from the list of options.
