... Straight Sliding Automatic Door ...

The most popular and cost effective automatic entrance door is the connect a.d. Straight Sliding Automatic Door and it is ideal for medium to high volume pedestrian access in many commercial environments.

The basic doorset comprises of a door leaf and frame and can be supplied in either single parting or double leaf bi-parting. The doors are commonly mounted on the inside of the building and slide in front of a side wall or a sidescreen.

Our door can be supplied to replace old or damaged manual doors, or as a complete entrance system with the option of fixed side screens and transom panels.

The doorleaf and frame are constructed from an aluminium profile with internal bracing to form a doorset with inbuilt strength.

The doorsets can be produced in a wide range of colours by polyester powder coating the frame to any BS or RAL colour. Alternatively the door can be provided with a silver or bronze anodised finish or even stainless steel.

The Straight Sliding Automatic Door operator which powers the door is contained within an overhead header unit. This unit contains the track, motor, and microprocessor controller complete with multi-position control switch to set the modes of operation.

The most common in the range of door activation options is by overhead sensors on both sides of the opening.

Standard safety features of our Straight Sliding Automatic Door include double safety beams, which will hold open the door if the beam is broken, automatic reverse on obstruction and battery back-up to provide for emergency fly-open in the event of power failure.

Security is provided by a deadlock and, to protect against weather conditions, the door is fitted with brush seals and an aluminium threshold.

The specification of your door can be changed by choosing from the list of options.
