1. Do you remove old doors from site?
Doors that are being replaced are taken down and laid aside. They can be removed and disposed of by prior arrangement.
2. Do you carry out builder's work?
No. We require builder's work to be carried out by others.
3. How many years experience do you have?
Our company was established in 1986 and connect a.d. was formed in 2001.
4. Do my new doors come with a guarantee?
All New Door Installations come with a full 1 year guarantee that can be extended to 2 years (details on request).
5. Do you manufacture your own products?
All of our new door products are manufactured in-house.
6. Do you employ your own engineers?
All of our manufacturing and door engineers are directly employed by the company.
7. How long will it take from my order being placed to the door being installed?
The lead time on standard specification doorsets is typically 3-4 weeks and special orders 4-6 weeks, depending on the specification. A fast-track service is available.
8. What happens if I'm not sure what product I require?
This website is designed to help in the decision making process and compliment the personal service from our sales team.
9. Do you carry out repairs?
We have a comprehensive repair service for many types of manual and automatic entrance doors.
10. Can your doors be used as a fire exit?
Yes. We have an extensive range of emergency exit hardware and features that can be incorporated into our doorsets.
