Lothian and Borders Police, Penicuik
Following a successful installation at Edinburgh Airport, Hardies Surveyors brought connect a.d. on board to help with the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) upgrades at several other Police Stations in the Lothian and Borders area.

At Penicuik, connect a.d. manufactured and installed a Hinging Automatic Entrance Doorset with the ’manual movement’ type Low Energy Hinged Door Operator. This enables the door to be manually operated as a conventional door closer, but automatically activated via stainless steel push plates inside and outside, for those who require assistance to enter and exit.

This was another successful installation through the Main Contractor, Clark Contracts, who connect a.d. have dealt with on several other installations.
