The original manual entrance doors were overused and worn out.
connect a.d. were approached to manufacture and install a Straight Sliding Automatic Entrance Doorset to help improve the access into and from the building for all users.
The Straight Sliding Automatic Entrance Doorset is idea for use in a medical centre as many of the people using the services are elderly, disabled or otherwise require assistance into the building.
The new automatic door is activated by overhead sensors on both sides of the opening.
The doorleaves were powder coated a contrasting colour to the surrounding framework to meet the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA).
