Parkgrove and Eastcraigs Medical Centre, Edinburgh
Parkgrove and Eastcraigs Medical Centre in Edinburgh approached connect a.d. when they were looking to automate their existing timber entrance doors to meet the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA).

After successfully beating off the competition, connect a.d. installed their Low Energy Hinged Door Operator to each of the two single leaf doorsets.

The doors were activated by overhead sensor on the outside and by stainless steel push plate on the inside. Included was vertical roller finger trap protection.

The door automation has significantly improved access for all patients
