Occupying a prestigious location within Glasgow city centre, the residents of the housing development wished to upgrade their entrance.

connect a.d. were chosen to complete the project by the property development company Speirs Parnie as a result of many previous successful installations with the company.

The existing entrance consisted of a double leaf framed aluminium door complete with transom panel.

In order to give the entrance a modern feel, connect a.d. designed, manufactured and installed a frameless glass entrance door complete with a frameless glass sidescreen. The transom was taken out and the doorleaf was constructed to run the full height of the entrance. The result was a doorset which vastly improved the cosmetic look and functionality of the entrance. The security was also increase by the addition of top and bottom surface mounted solenoid locks. This locking arrangement works in conjunction with the buildings controlled entry system in order to ensure top level entrance security.
